Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant – All Level

Possible locations:  Montreal (needs to be fluently bilingual), Toronto and Reading

Core Responsibilities

As a Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant, you will drive high priority Cloud Solution initiatives for Itergy’s customers by supporting, delivering, designing, implementing or overseeing multiple enterprise level solutions depending on your level of experience and skills.  These Microsoft solutions will include the following:

  • Cyber Security technologies, including Microsoft Identity & Information Protection (On-premises and Azure Active Directory, Intune, Mobile Device and App Management, Data Loss Prevention, Threat Detection and Analytics)
  • Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Platform (private and public cloud);
  • Microsoft Cloud Productivity Platform (private and public cloud).


  • Progressive project experience working in medium to large IT environments as a subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft Infrastructure, Productivity and Security solutions, both on-premise and cloud-based
  • Experience as systems operator in a Windows server technology environment (2008/2012/2016)
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
    • Active Directory design and operations
    • Microsoft messaging, such as Exchange and Office 365
    • Cloud infrastructure solutions, such as AWS or Azure IaaS, and Microsoft System Center
    • Cyber Security practices for identity, information protection, and data loss prevention
  • Microsoft certified, MCSE/MCITP
  • Great technical project oversight and personal organization skills;
  • Leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups;
  • Demonstrated experience creating solution architectures, detailed designs, implementation and support expertise;
  • Ability to understand the “big picture” and create appropriate solutions to meet the goals;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications in French (Montreal Office Only) and English skills are a must;
  • Experience presenting to Executives, including formal presentations, white-board sessions/workshops, large and small group presentations;
  • Ability to listen well, understand what is being communicated, and translate the information into business and technical solutions;
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing as a fundamentally disruptive technology and business strategy;
  • Ability to understand customer experience and pain points.
